This training guide and video on popular education and organizing contains practical tools to help grassroots groups democratize their organizations, strengthen their organizing initiatives, and work together with other groups in coalitions. The guide offers popular education theory, method and activities drawn from a wide variety of feminist, labor and anti-poverty campaigns. Exercises and activities are based on fundamental principles about how people learn and how people are mobilized to act. This is a useful tool for designing community mobilization and training programs.
Recommended for community groups that are just starting mobilizing efforts and for established groups looking to bolster their activities and impact.
